He got a technique that can improve his mediocre spirit roots to that of son of heaven in wood element, but the catch is he has to connect with a plant/tree and stay near it. MC finds a demon tree ( that can grow by using blood and flesh) which can grow fast. The demon tree returns a lot of vitality back to it’s master to improve his physique.
His improved physique not only enhances his life span to currently that of 450 years ( others have 200 yrs), his talents in production arts like Array, Pill and Talisman is also enhanced. Longer he stays connected with the tree, he will have more cumulative feedback. So, MC is basically stuck to an island due to this technique.
He doesn’t mind it, because he is improving his cultivation and has no fear to harm because he doesn’t kill any young master. On the island there is a formation ( MC is Array Master now) which can stop attacks peak cultivator of the kingdom ( core formation level cultivator). He has servants, farms, sells pills, talismans and everyone and their dogs respect him. Bro is living his life.
Let’s talk about the cheat.
Cheat is a bronze mirror. In the past it could transfer people and things to anywhere in heaven and earth ( to any realm – unrestricted). MC got a broken part of it and is now inside his soul. He can travel to a martial world and his mind can view/peer into a ‘secret realm’ ( can’t go inside) using a piece of bronze mirror that is in the secret realm.
Unlike the title, MC in the beginning used Martial arts in Immortal world due to his poor aptitude. He never really used immortal arts or cultivated in martial world. Regarding the secret realm, it a secret realm of a Demon Sect ( supposedly in high level realm), who uses the secret realm for it’s disciples to go once in a century to harvest treasures from there. MC uses the mirror to talk with the expert in the secret realm to exchange the techniques. Expert in the secret realm follows completely different system of cultivation from the immortal art or martial arts. MC uses their system to further his studies in the Array Formations.

It’s good. Also, there is nothing wrong with having 10 maids since we haven’t seen them since chapter 2. At least for now. Interesting concept that shouldn’t get 2 stars just because of some maids.
He kills half of them because they were in cahoots with his traitor steward.

Lmao, Ik that guy, the mc Leylin of warlock novel purposely do evil saying it’s for benefits but most of the time it feels like the so called benefits has nothing to do with what he is doing and his hormones aren’t under control.

The mc’s trick is that he can travel between two worlds, the first is the immortal world in which the novel is concentrated, the second is the martial world.
There’s no harem or any love interest, though he’s also not a virgin who doesn’t fuck anyone. But that’s just it, he won’t donate a valuable item to someone just because he ate that person.
He’s not a villain either, (wmw’s MC isn’t either)
Anyway that’s it, the pace is slow, in the last chapter he is just in the foundation establishment, his initial talent is mediocre (basic clichΓ©) But he finds a way to increase.
If you like an MC who stays at home raising fish this novel is for you

My Girl Friend From Jade Pond Ask For My Help After My Millennium Seclusion or something like that, although the name is cliche, the novel is without a doubt one of the best read in my memory, and bro, trust me, my reading standards are high as shit so when I say something is good, it gotta be good.
That novel is a chill enjoyable read. If there exists a cultivation world, it should be like that, no cliche bs but something logical. It’s ending is very nice too and mc is calm af.
Yeah trust him bro, he has very high standard, π so high he literally recommend a trash novel, that doesn’t have world building, almost no interactions, very op cheat(sign in), that by chapter 3 he already finished foundation building ,and going to try golden core π€£. I couldn’t even read after that.
When people said this was written by same author who copied- I mean wrote Warlock of Magus World, I thought it was at least better mid to low grade but this is just cliche stuff.
We have the same mc who appears at the last moment to save the day, I really don’t like it when mc appears when someone is about to die in the last attack… It is so stupid and unrealistic.
Once or twice in fine, but sams thing happened at least 7 to 8 times when even the first arc hasn’t ended yet.
The plot is also thick as fukk, his luck can almost make veteran readers disgusted, author truly dropped his standards to the gutter after his previous novel.

If by first world you mean the martial art world, then ya he will keep traveling back to that world and the cap on that world seems to be golden core+

Review till ch 325, it’s usual type for this author like his previous novels womw, careefree path of dreams , transcended Dawn… novel , it has usual elements( selfish neutral mc , different worlds, no romance, journey to the top.etc) of the author’s previous novel. So if u like author’s previous novel u will like this novel too. If not u won’t. Overall I would give 3/5 , a above average ‘ Chinese webnovel’
