I dont like author’s writing type. It feels like a machine gun. Smaller sentences keep coming. Mc is developing with the help of the system but it depends on authors wishes. You can’t feel how much he increased his power or knowledge only final result. What is the difference between this and a talented person. I couldn’t read after three chapters because of his writing type.

no obvious plot holes
the system is annoying, it makes the start easier to explain for the author i guess… not having to put in as much effort, but most of the time it’s just used to make bad jokes or filler text
makes sexual jokes and nonsense every 10-20 chapters… except MC doesn’t have any equipment down there so why keep doing this? is it fun to go to a brothel with no “little brother?” yea, you go to a brothel to listen to music, and achieve spiritual release obviously
MC has chess skills beyond mortal limits, still cheats when playing against a fox that has just started gaining wisdom, he is often stingy “joking” like this and similar “small pranks” but it really makes him seem like a small-minded a**hole
he uses the names of his friends when out doing bad deeds and spreading smut novels etc. ruining his friends reputation instead of just picking a random name (i never understand this, it happens in quite a few Chinese novels… like wtf? are you really friends?)
there was supposed to be some kind of big talk between the empire and cultivation sects where MC is the mediator but it was just skipped lmao, the climax of an arc was skipped
the empire vs sects thing is really dragging the novel down in a bad way
the incense cultivation is … okay I guess, but only MC being able to cultivate properly even after telling others how is … dumb … not a single proper cultivator, they are basically all gods using faith, and it seems that it drains the fate/luck of whoever prays… so the entire cultivation world is basically like a parasite that causes widespread natural disasters for mortals, even recovering after a fight can’t be done without faith
would have liked a mention of “the barbarians beyond the northern wall” but I guess they disappeared when cultivation became widespread again… annoying
I’ve read to chapter 155, and MC’s “Way of Qi” as opposed to “Burning Incense” is … well, he’s a foundation establishment cultivator and can easily kill golden core…… why even call it the same system of cultivation…
also, whenever MC prays or lights incense in a temple that place is destroyed and whoever uses that place to cultivate literally explodes and dies… wtf? there is no reasonable explanation, except MC obviously has the luck and fate of a protagonist so ordinary people can’t bear to drain his fate/luck for cultivation
to be fair, the Immortality aspect of watching time pass by while not seeking trouble is very well done and I liked it a lot early on, but it loses this aspect around the peak of Qi Cultivation

Interesting in the beginning but gets boring later on.
The main problem of this novel lies in the boring world building and lack of interesting long lasting characters.
All other characters in this novel are useless without any value. Only MC experiences some progress on his own while everyone else can only rely on mc.
This makes the novel extremely boring.
The world of this novel itself feels lifeless, colourless and tasteless.
In the beginning you might not notice it, but as time passes it becomes more and more obvious.
