It’s a brain dead novel.
The author says that MC is born as villain, but the paradox is he does not behave like one.

On the other hand, the main Child of destiny is shown as trash and arrogant.

Other than the plot setting of 1st chapter, everything follows normal braindead wuxia with lots of killing, a nonsense system randomly signing in to give mystic rank skills and encounters driven by plot Armor.

This novel is symbolises what every SIGN IN novel should not do.

Hmm, it looks like the author just copied and pasted this novel from another Chinese novel. It can be seen from chapter 272 that the name of the MC & the others began to change, even for the next chapters the writer did not change it but just let it go.

And one more thing, the MC character does not match the title of the novel, you can even say that the protagonist from the initial chapter matches the title of the novel.

Fix the chapters towards last. From around 250 – 304

The novel’s cultivation path is very interesting, and the plot is “ok”. This is not a novel about a villain but about a protagonist who was a villain in the original work. The original work’s protagonist act as a villain and the villain (our MC) acts as a cliche protagonist. It feels like a “mashup” of different novels like Sign-in Buddha’s Palm and I Am Really Not The Son of Providence.

Also, the author forgot the name of the MC by chapter 277, changing it to one of the most overused protagonist names of all time, Jiang Chen. I have no idea why he did it but this is very irritating. Interestingly, in the first chapter he changed the name, he kept switching back and forth with the old name.

Finally, by chapter 280 there are several chapters that have nothing to do with this novel (some mistake made by the MTL software or the raw source) so I decided to drop this and try a different novel.

I would rate this novel 2 stars (out of 5) just because of the cultivation path (which I found interesting and a bit fresh). Plot-wise it is a solid 1 star.
